2026 Summer Softball Camp Week 2 (Jul 27-30)

Camp Overview

Our Girls Softball Camp is designed to provide young athletes with skill-based instruction, fun activities, and opportunities to grow in confidence and teamwork. The camp focuses on fundamentals through structured stations, games, and gamified challenges that make learning softball both educational and fun.

Dates & Ages:
Week 1: July 20–23, Ages 5–10 (DOB 2016-2020)

Week 2: July 27–30, Ages 5–10 (DOB 2016-2020)

Time: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Rain Date: Both weeks Friday mornings 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Cost: $225 per participant per week

Camp Goals

Teach the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running.

Build teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence.

Encourage physical activity and coordination in a safe, fun environment.

Make learning softball enjoyable through gamification and creative drills.

Camp Structure

Instructional Format:
Skill stations with focused drills

Fun, game-based challenges to reinforce skills

Scrimmages and mini-competitions for applying learned skills

Sample Schedule (5:00 PM – 7:30 PM):
  • Warm-up & conditioning (10–15 min)
  • Skill Stations: hitting, pitching, fielding, base running (60 min)
  • Game-based skill challenges & competitions (45 min)
  • Team scrimmages / wrap-up & cool-down (30 min)

In case of rain, make-up schedule: Friday morning 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM for each week

What to Bring

  • Glove
  • Bat
  • Helmet
  • Cleats
  • Water bottle
  • Comfortable athletic wear

Provided by Camp: balls, cones, bases, instruction, and materials for skill games.

Safety


  • Certified first aid available on-site
  • Supervised hydration breaks
  • Rain dates ensure safety during inclement weather

Coaching Staff

Experienced local coaches with softball knowledge, led by Tony Meccariello. Tony played four years of collegiate baseball at Widener University, served as a team captain, earned All-Conference honors, and later led Interboro High School to multiple conference championships while also instructing at Maple Zone and Top Lumber Academies.

Staff trained in safety, fundamentals, and positive instruction

Focus on individualized feedback and encouragement
